坂本龍一70歳を記念した企画アルバム「A Tribute to Ryuichi Sakamoto - To the Moon and Back」が11月30日にCDリリースされる。世代やジャンルを超えたアーティストたちが、古希を迎えながらも闘病をつづける坂本龍一に捧げる、真の愛情を持ってリモデル（再生成／再構築）したベストコレクションだ。
オリジナル作品を独自にアレンジしてリモデルしたアーティストは、坂本龍一作品のDNAを受け継ぎながら、新たな音楽フォームを生み出した。
サンダーキャット、デヴォンテ・ハインズ、ヒドゥル・グドナドッティルといった坂本龍一の音楽を愛するアーティストたち、アルヴァ・ノト、コーネリアス、大友良英、フェネス、さらには10年ぶりに歌唱を披露したデヴィッド・シルヴィアンといった長年のコラボレーターや友人たち、リム・ギョン、ガブリアル・ウェクら坂本龍一と最近交流を持つようになったお気に入りのアーティストなど、様々なつながりを持つアーティストが参加。ソロ作品、映画音楽と全年代キャリアから選曲された13曲を収録。12月21日にはアナログレコードも限定リリースされる。
